Jamey Henderson
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jamey has served as the Executive Director since 2001 and is a licensed social worker. Her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology is from Wayland Baptist University, and she brings over 30 years of experience in human services to Samaritan Caregivers.
Jamey is a member of One Church where she sings with the Celebration Choir and plays piano. She enjoys growing and arranging flowers, running, Colts football, home decorating, traveling to Mackinac Island and spending time with family, including seven grandchildren & three great-grandchildren.
Rebekah Gillum
Medicare Specialist/IT
Rebekah joined the staff of Samaritan Caregivers in 2007. Her Bachelor of Science degree is from Olivet University, and she has years of experience in working with volunteers as well as office operations. Rebekah’s is an Indiana certified SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Provider) Counselor and coordinates Samaritan Caregivers Medicare Counseling program.
Rebekah enjoys crafting and owns Rebel's Razzle Dazzle Designs. She also enjoys shopping for bargains, gardening (but not weeding), photography, baking and learning new things.
Teresa Simpson
TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR
Teresa is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in Human Services and a Gerontology concentration. She has been with Samaritan Caregivers since 2010. Her strong connections in the community and her ability to communicate effectively make a positive difference in the lives of seniors.
Teresa spends her time assisting with auctions, bee keeping and flower gardening and enjoys cooking and reading.
Jan Drac
Grocery Coordinator
Jan holds a Masters in Science Management degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and has invested over thirty years in school and health care food service management. She also served on the Samaritan Caregivers Board of Directors for many years.
Jan is devoted to her three cats, and is an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan. She is also a foodie who enjoys travel, theater and gardening (including weeding).

Kami Zimmer
Marketing
Kami began working with Samaritan Caregivers in March of 2024. She is armed with over twenty years of experience as a business owner and marketing professional, locally and on the west coast. Her experience and engaging personality are a welcome addition to the team.
On the weekends Kami enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. They love to travel but entertaining is her favorite past time. There is always room for more chairs at their table.
Karla Bautista
Administrative Assistant
Samaritan Caregivers welcomed Karla in August 2024 as Administrative Assistant. She is the first contact that people have when calling or stopping by the office and is a perfect fit for the Samaritan Caregivers team; kind and considerate, with the ability to do whatever needs to be done.
Karla is from Lawrenceville, Georgia, graduated from Hephzibah High School, received many honors throughout her academic career and is bilingual. Due to COVID, she completed her senior year entirely online but did attend graduation in person.
Karla enjoys spending time hiking outdoors with her ten-year-old Rot-Pit mix dog, Taco, who has been her companion since he was a puppy. She also enjoys playing X-Box and PS5 and is a talented artist who likes to paint with acrylics on canvas.
